The Cartographer is the sweater that carries a winter wardrobe: a classic cable crewneck with enough texture to stand alone and enough discipline to sit under a coat collar without argument. Some patterns date; cables do not.

Knitted in a substantial midweight yarn with an all-over cable pattern, finished with a ribbed crew collar, cuffs, and hem that hold their shape. Full fiber content is listed on the care label.

Fabric & care

Technical synthetic fabrics throughout. Full fiber content and care instructions are listed on the care label.

A short course

How to judge a coat

Four checks that separate a well-made coat from the rest. Apply them to ours.

  1. Seams

Turn the coat inside out and follow a seam. The stitching should run straight and even, with no loose threads and no daylight.

  2. Hardware

Work every zip twice and close every snap. Good hardware moves without argument and sits flat when you let it go.

  3. Lining

A lining should lie smooth at the shoulders and hem, with no pull when you reach forward. Check where the sleeve meets the body.

  4. Hand

Fold a cuff and release it. Cloth that recovers quietly was finished with care; cloth that holds the crease was not.
